I asked Chat GPT to tell on itself. Here’s what it said.

  1. Privacy Concerns: AI can gather and analyze vast amounts of data, leading to significant privacy concerns. Companies and organizations can track individuals’ online behavior, preferences, and even predict their actions.

This invasion of privacy has raised questions about who has access to our personal data and how it’s being used. Without strict regulations and responsible usage, AI can lead to significant breaches of privacy.

My comment: Though AI will erode our privacy, it has been eroded a great deal already over the past 100 years.

2. Job Displacement: Automation, driven by AI, is causing job displacement in various industries. Tasks once performed by humans are being automated, leading to job loss for many. While AI creates new job opportunities in the tech sector, not everyone can easily transition into these roles. The transition can be challenging for those who lose their jobs and may require new skill sets or education.

My comment: This may not be the worst thing ever if people can drop the monotony of tasks done well by AI and find where their talents and passion lie … a blessing in disguise?
